I have heard rumors that some players do allow that functionality by a combination of subtitle and other remote key press, in some certain order, but couldn't confirm it. It's just that players won't jump there like they should, as they're not required to by the DVD Forum (bunch of lollygaggers! □. If you set a script or other target in the Disc's subtitle remote Connections, upon build, DVD SP will place the proper Subtitle entry PGC in ALL the VTS's (Tracks) Menu Domains. Ryan could use this functionality to change subtitle and audio streams in the precommand area of the Subtitle VTSM Entry PGC, before quickly bouncing back down into the Track with a perfect resume right where the viewer left off (no need to get into the VTSM Subtitle Entry PGC’s presentation area). Plays or pauses media currently playing on the specified Apple TV> Apps Apple TV Remote. This could be a subtile menu that allows the viewer to set or change the subtitles, before resuming back into the show (by pressing the subtitle remote key again, or by a resume button command). Precommands in that Root Menu PGC, immediately route navigation on up further into the Abstraction layer, landing on what ever we've set in the Connections. Whilst viewing a video, press the down arrow button on your remote or game controller. It has a specific designated PGC ('root') in all the playing VTS's menu domains, which is the recipient of instant navigation out of the Track when the viewer operates the remote menu key. The Menu remote key, works on all DVD players, because it's mandatory (and we're lucky? □. Switch between apps quickly, or kill background apps.
